Max is great, but in a tough pitching match-up he too often caves first (often giving up HRs) with the Nats then losing. Plus Nats bats to often non-existent when Max at his best. How many times did they fail to score even a run for him last year? Ugh! Definitely a disappointing start yesterday. Few of their hitters over last several years able to move runners over in key situations. Not sure pitchers will fear any bat in Nats line-up this year. Hoping that yesterday won’t prove to be a microcosm of our 2019 season. No confidence in “Davey” at the helm. None. Bullpen still seems questionable to me. Needs another big arm. Any unsigned free agents out there? Yes, but . . . ownership too cheap when it comes to stocking the bullpen year after year,
