Love the show. Agreed with Thom concerning Tom Izzo last week,. Michigan state athletics has gotten an awful reputation with the Nasser disaster. Izzo and Dantoni had been investigated about improprieties. I think he gets a free ride from many in the sports media cause he’s accessible and will give them good copy,
I don’t question his coaching ability,. He should be more careful in public with what’s happened in East Lansing the past few years.
It’s very simple with Snyder.
The team gets built up. Properly. Snyder gets involved.
Ithe team goes on a downward slope within a period of 24 months.
Then there is a 6 month season that is tumultuous. and a 6 month offseason of readjusting..
Case 1- Norv Turner/Charley Casserly.
94′-98′. Within that period. Regardless of loosing. The team kept gradually improving. Year to year. Intelligent draft choices made by casserly in drafting champ bailey and aquiring Brad Johnson in trade were big time moves. As was franchising Sean Gilbert to get all those picks from Carolina for him. At one point the skins’ had three major pro bowl running backs and one hall of fame running back….Terry Allen, Stephan Davis, and Brian Mitchell.
By 2001. Johnson, Mitchell, Allen, Casserly, amd Norv were gone.
Davis was in his 2nd to last year. And all Casserly’s picks were mismanaged by Snyder and Cerrito

Being way over the cap and overtly veteran. Exodus of players like Deion sanders, Jeff George and even young players like Derek Smith were inevitable as was the exit of Mark Carrier.
Solid draft yielding Rod Gardner, Darnerian
Mccants , Fred Smoot, and strong safety Ifayani Ohelete as well as Sage Rosenfels, and pro bowl linebacker Antonio pierce. Who was a free agent. Offseason acquisition of Kijana Carter was good move as was aquiring QB Tony Banks from Baltimore Ravens.
Team starts off 0-5 and ends up 8-8. Late season acquisition of kr/pr Eric Metcalf boosts special teams play. After season
Both Schottenheimer and Schneider are fired. At least 2 players from that draft stay with redskins for 6 years. Smooth and Mccants. All drafted players have minimum 5 year career.
Schottenheimer and Schneider respectively move on and win in other places.

But things quickly went south when Snyder forced the redskins to trade for Donovan Mcnabb. Shanahan wanted Mark Bulger.
It took shanahan 2 years to get the team competitive. Though rg3 was a bust. 12′ was a good season. Shanahan never got Full chance to run team.
A. DUE TO CAP PENALTY FROM SNYDER AND ALLEN AND JERRY JONES PISSING OFF NFL OWNERS.
B. SNYDERS FAVORITISM OF RG3 SETTING BAD TONE WITH COACH AND TEAM.

He praises both Mike and Kyle Shanahan and says…”they know a lot about football.” Jay does some promising things in first year…beats Cowboys on Monday night. Eliminates chip Kelly and eagles from playoffs last game of 14′ season.
15′ jay starts to own the Eagles. For a short period. The redskins are beating the Eagles. Mccloughan comes in. Desean Jackson plays a role in this. Sean Mcvay is thriving young offensive mind.
2016 is a lot like 15′ but they fold in week 16.
20017-2018…….:Cousins carries team…..we all know about that.
Mccloughan is run out of town……Sean leaves. Jackson and garçon leave…….
Now jay is next…..desean jackson is of all places back in philly and the Eagles have won the Super Bowl.
