Kevin opens the show with thoughts on the Eagles win last night over Green Bay. He gets into the reported league proposal to expand the NFL schedule to 17 games. He’s got a Redskins-Giants preview and pick, a Terps-Penn State preview with Jeff Ermann from InsideMD Sports, and 15 Smell Test picks too.
Kevin and Thom opened with the Nats and Bryce Harper’s comments about being heckled last night. Thom has some new information on who the starter will be for Tuesday’s wildcard game next week. Next up, does Colt McCoy have a chance to start the game Sunday against the Giants? Case Keenum has a foot injury and Jay couldn’t help himself yesterday inserting McCoy’s name into the mix if Keenum can’t go. Josh Norman criticized media and fans and the guys talked about that. They did an NFL Power Poll and then Kevin and Aaron previewed the Eagles-Packers game tonight.
Kevin opens up with the Nats wild-card clinching day. Then it’s Cooley calling in to do a lengthy conversation about the Redskins-Bears game, a look-ahead to the Giants game, and a few interesting thoughts on RPOs in college football.
Kevin and Thom recap the 31-15 loss to the Bears last night at Fed Ex. There was plenty of talk about the game but just as much about another organizational rock-bottom moment. They discussed the London “Flecther” induction into the team’s Ring of Fame as well.
