Kevin opened with last night’s spectacular Green Bay win over Arizona. So much to the game and Kevin touched on much of it. Then it was time to preview and pick Washington’s game at Denver on Sunday. Chris Miller/Wizards-NBCSports was a guest to talk about the Wizards’ surprising 4-1 start and their shorthanded win last night over the Hawks. Then, at 1:16:00, Super Bowl 26 MVP Mark Rypien joined the show to talk some 1991 Super Bowl season and to share his thoughts on the current 2021 WFT.

Kevin and Thom today on the continuation of Washington Football Team off-field news including Tanya Snyder’s reported ‘tone deaf’ comments at the NFL’s league meetings. They also talked some football including a discussion about why WFT’s 3rd-down defense might improve. World Series, Wizards, Caps, and more on the show too.

Roger Goodell on behalf of the NFL said the findings of the Beth Wilkenson report would not be released and stated that Dan Snyder “has been held accountable”. Kevin welcomed long-time Williams-Connolly attorney and former US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman on the show today to discuss/recap the comments yesterday from Goodell about the many Washington Football Team situation(s). Also, Kevin on one of the biggest regular season games in Washington history 30 yrs ago tonight against the Giants.

Kevin and Thom opened with some Dusty Baker/World Series talk and then got to the Washington Football Team. Much of the WFT conversation today was about the way Ron Rivera talked about Taylor Heinicke yesterday and whether or not it was an indication that they are still in the mode of wanting to see more of him. Thom doesn’t know how Kevin is able to watch the NBA…that was the finishing conversation on the show today.
