Lots going on during the show today. Thom had a breaking Joe Gibbs story that was updated in progress and another story about a beer cart that killed his great grandfather. Kevin recapped Maryland’s 54-10 Pinstripe Bowl win over Virginia Tech and predicted the 2022 Terps could be a preseason Top 25 ranked team. Kevin put $50 on Washington at +1300 to make the playoffs because he believes the Skins’ chances are better than that. There was Kyle Allen vs Taylor Heinicke discussion, more on John Madden, and a Happy Birthday shout-out to a local PR legend.

Kevin with his breakdown of Washington’s 56-14 blow-out loss to the Cowboys in Dallas. The off-the-field lead-up to the game was petty and embarrassing but not nearly as humiliating as the demolition that took place on the field. Kevin’s “Game Take” included one player who stood out in a positive way and several parts of the team that didn’t. He had a grade for Taylor Heinicke, a suggestion on who should start at QB against Philly this coming week, and then he spent a few minutes discussing the updated playoff picture. He talked other NFL and then brought on Gene Wang/Washington Post to discuss the increasing number of cancelled bowl games.
