Kevin and Thom to start the show. Thom wasn’t as discouraged about the loss to the Cardinals as you might think. Cooley then joins the show with his “Film Breakdown” of the offense. Cooley and Kevin today recapping Washington’s 30-15 loss in Arizona. They discussed what they liked and didn’t like from the loss to the Cardinals and got into detail on the performance by Haskins. They also got after Ron Rivera’s decision to tap out at the end of the game. They also discussed the biggest games of the NFL day and ended with an appreciation for what DeChambeau did at Winged Foot.
Kevin, Thom, and Cooley on the show today previewing Washington-Arizona and a lot more. After the season-opening win over Philly, curiosity about the team has increased. Kevin and Thom opened with the news that the Caps had hired their new coach. They briefly discussed the two MNF games before getting to Thom’s column on the Football Team which Kevin thought he read but actually had not. They debated whether or not the league buzz about Washington’s dominant defensive win over the Eagles was typical Week 1 overreaction or not and also spent time on the latest Alex Smith story from John Keim.
