Kevin and Thom opened the show discussing Marty Schottenheimer’s brief professional visit to Washington in 2001 but the lasting impact he had here. Is Brady the GOAT in sports history? That was a topic as was the mood of the WFT fan base and the chances Kyle Allen is back as the team’s starting quarterback in 2021.
Cooley and Kevin recapped Tampa Bay’s blowout Super Bowl 55 win over Kansas City. They discussed some of the WFT QB reporting from over the weekend along with some weather, skiing, and Drew Pearson vs Gary Clark HOF talk.
Cooley and Kevin talked in-depth about the Washington QB situation. They attempted to divide the fantasy options from those that are more realistic. Then it was a Super Bowl 55 preview along with Kevin’s Super Bowl “Smell Test”, Cooley’s “Lock of the Week”, and a final score prediction.
Kevin and Thom today with Thom lecturing Kevin per usual about the way he leads his life. The boys talked Tennessee, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Ireland, Marty Schottenheimer, Tom Brady, Bradley Beal and the Super Bowl. Some Ron Rivera and WFT talk too.
Kevin led with Maryland’s win over Purdue and the Wizards ugly no-defense loss to Portland. Then it was JP Finlay/NBCSports Washington on the show talking about a report out of Las Vegas that the Raiders could deal Derrick Carr to Washington for two first-round picks as part of a 3-way deal involving Deshaun Watson to the Raiders. Tim Murray/VSIN came on with Kevin to talk Super Bowl wagering but the two old friends ended up analyzing this year’s college basketball season too.
Kevin and Thom today considering a potential Washington trade up in the draft to select Ohio State QB Justin Fields. What about a re-draft of 2020….would WFT take Justin Herbert over Chase Young? A lot more on the show that’s hard to describe but worthy of a listen for some of you.
