Kevin solo today w/some WFT cut news and plenty of follow up to a few of Ron Rivera’s thoughts about the preseason game Friday night against the Bengals and the one coming up against the Ravens. Kevin reacted to some other NFL news and you’ll hear what happened 10 years ago today when he was on the air at ESPN 980 (EARTHQUAKE!).
Kevin joined by Ben Standig/The Athletic today off the top of the show to discuss the WFT branding/name roll-out that has become somewhat annoying to many in the fan base. At 33:00 they previewed tonight’s preseason game against the Bengals and then at 58:00 Kevin weighed in on the Eagles blowout preseason loss last night to the Patriots.
Kevin and Thom today opened with a discussion about the recent controversy surrounding a Naomi Osaka press conference. Thom weighed in on the Steve Buckhantz/Joe Gibbs “Playboy” interview from 30 years ago. Then a discussion about the NFC East….how many teams can legitimately win it this year? Kevin thinks all 4 and explains why.
Kevin opened today with the news that Alfred Morris was released by the Giants and a remembrance of Morris’ 2012 season and 2012 season finale against Dallas. Kevin had some thoughts on Ron Rivera’s NFL comp for CB Benjamin St.Juste. At 28:00 Steve Buckhantz jumped on to talk about the famous Joe Gibbs/Playboy interview that took place 30 years ago this week. Ross Tucker also joined the show at 53:00 to talk NFL and WFT with Kevin.
