Kevin and Thom today opened with George Mason’s upset win over Maryland last night in College Park. Some Wizards and more in the opening segment too. Then it was Ron Rivera’s description of Chase Young and Montez Sweat’s replacements that caught the ears of Kevin and Thom. They also talked some Heinicke and the most heartbreaking loss in WFT history. In the final segment of the show, Marc Sterne (aka Nigel from the Tony Kornheiser Show) jumped on to talk about the day that his impersonation of Christopher Walken on Kevin and Thom’s “Sports Fix” show became national news.

Kevin was joined today by Doc Walker who didn’t hold back on how he felt about the Washington Football Team. He wasn’t happy with the coddling of Chase Young and Montez Sweat before their injuries and doesn’t think it was coincidental that the defense played its best game of the year on Sunday without them. Plenty more from Doc including his thoughts on Taylor Heinicke and who he thinks the team captains should be.

Kevin with Jay Gruden today on several subjects including the Washington Football Team, the league at the season’s mid-point, his thoughts on some of the college quarterbacks, his explanation on why the Skins didn’t trade Kirk Cousins to the 49ers in 2017 and what he thinks they could have gotten for him, and he loves a particular big underdog on tomorrow’s NFL slate. Collin Guttman/910 The Fan in Richmond joined the show to talk about Juan Soto and the back and forth this week between Scott Boras and Mike Rizzo.
