A busy show starts with Kevin previewing the Washington-Philly game on Sunday with his ‘keys to an upset’ and his pick. Jay Gruden had plenty to say about Sam Howell and Eric Bieniemy from last week against the Bills. He also previewed and picked Eagles-Commanders plus he had his NFL lock of the week. Reuben Frank/NBCS Philadelphia jumped on to talk about why the undefeated Eagles haven’t played that well yet. Kevin finished with 15 “Smell Test” picks.
Kevin and Thom today with a menu of excellence. They talked about Eric Bieniemy’s press conference where he dodged most questions with a similar answer. Kevin thinks the “Tush-Push” QB sneak should be eliminated and offered up the rule-change solution. The boys talked Sam Howell, Thom had his Washington-Philly pick, they talked “The Office” re-boot, re-introduced one of their radio segments “You Heard It Here First” and closed with a nice story about Travis Hunter and the Colorado State player who knocked him out the last two weeks.
Cooley and Kevin today with Cooley’s film breakdown of the Buffalo game which includes an in-depth analysis and grade for Sam Howell. He also spent time on Eric Bieniemy’s plan and play-calling, the Commanders’ 3rd-down defense, and more.
Kevin and Thom today with lots on Sam Howell including what Ron Rivera said yesterday about Washington’s commitment to developing the young QB. Thom’s thoughts on the Buffalo game, the Taylor Swift affect on the NFL, and the Eagles are 3-0 but haven’t come close to playing their best.
Kevin’s recap of the ugly 37-3 loss to the Bills starts the show. He gets to Sam Howell’s rough day immediately and then has his “game-take”. Fred Smoot joined Kevin for the final segment of the show.
