Kevin opened with his keys to a Washington win in Atlanta along with a prediction on the game. Jay Gruden jumped on to talk Commanders-Falcons and a lot more including providing his NFL “Lock of the Week”. Kevin finished up with 8 “Smell Test” picks and thoughts on Maryland-Illinois.
Kevin and Thom opened talking about another clutch performance from Bryce Harper last night in Game 3 against the Braves. The guys also reacted to Ron Rivera’s posted message in the team’s locker room “Do Your Job” and his explanation of it. Thom had his Commanders-Falcons prediction, Kevin had two early Thursday night “Smell Test” picks, and the guys had their “You Heard It Here First” bold predictions for the week.
Kevin started with some Sam Howell numbers that were floating around today….some good and some not so good. Kevin talked about Howell’s sack rate and his culpability for that sack rate being a flaw that must be corrected. Steve Czaban jumped on with his thoughts on Howell, the Commanders, the “Brotherly Shove” play, fast-casual restaurants, and a lot more.

With the Commanders off on Sunday, Kevin opened talking NFL including the 49ers’ beat-down of the Cowboys last night. Kevin talked a little about the Terps’ loss at Ohio State and one of the worst coaching blunders in recent college football history.

Kevin then had longtime NFL writer and NFL Hall of Fame voter Gary Myers on to talk about his book about the 1986 New York Giants Super Bowl team. In addition to talking about the book, Gary talked about his recent presentation of Joe Jacoby for the Hall of Fame. He talked Gibbs vs Parcells, RFK memories, the three matchups between the Skins and Giants in ’86, and a lot more.
Cooley and Kevin start the show together recapping the debacle last night at Fed Ex Field.
