Kevin today on the firing of Ron Rivera and the hiring of both Bob Myers and Rick Spielman. Kevin addressed all of the GM and Head Coach names that the team has reportedly sought out for interviews as well. Plenty on yesterday’s season-closing blowout loss to the Cowboys and then David Aldridge/The Athletic jumped on with Kevin to talk about the day.
Kevin on Washington-Dallas to finish up the regular season. Jay Gruden jumped on with a preview of week 18 along with his sizzling “NFL Lock of the Week” (11-4 ATS). Kevin had 3 NFL “Smell Test” picks as well.
Kevin and Thom opened with Kevin’s first watch of the tv series Fargo. All Washington football after that starting with the decision to start Sam Howell against Dallas instead of either Jacoby Brissett or Jake Fromm. How much pressure could Washington put on Dallas if the game stayed close into the 2nd half? The guys discussed that. Thom’s prediction on Commanders-Cowboys, his column on Eric Bieniemy, and the boys reaction to Detroit Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell’s back and forth with a Detroit sports-talk radio host as well.
Kevin opened with the decision to start Sam Howell in the season finale against Dallas. Kevin also recapped Maryland’s loss to the top-ranked Purdue last night in College Park as well. Then it was Tim Murray/VSIN Network jumping on to discuss the quarterbacks that Washington may be deciding on when we get to the 2024 NFL Draft.
