Kevin and Thom today with a variety of items on a menu of excellence. The boys talked Commanders’ “gold pants” to start before getting to Thom’s vacation in Vermont and Kevin’s trip to L.A. and Vegas. The guys took shots at soccer, discussed the best pass rushers in the NFL, and a lot more including the sad news on the condition of NFL great, Bernie Kosar.

Kevin back and solo today talking about the Commanders announcement that they team will include blast from the past gold pants as part of their uniform mix in 2024. Kevin also on the Brandon Aiyuk Tik Tok video of Washington’s off-season practice. Kevin talked Nats and ESPN’s “Defensive Tackle Top 10 List” as a way of talking Daron Payne and Jon Allen in 2024.

Kevin opened with Ben Standig talking Commanders’ 53-man secondary depth chart. It also included discussion about who will return punts and kickoffs. Then Joe Lee/Bullis Track & Field Coach jumped on to talk about his young star, Quincy Wilson, the youngest male Olympic Track & Field participant is Team USA history.

Kevin and Thom with July 4th stories including Thom’s personal Declaration of Independence story. They talked about DC’s effort to land the NFL Draft 2027 and the Lakers’ Bronny James charade.

Kevin and Thom today opened with James Wood’s Nats debut and then got to what happened four years ago to the day. That was the day that Fed Ex took the first step towards killing the Redskins name. Fed Ex issued a statement on July 2, 2020 requesting the Redskins “change its name” and the team responded that they would “undergo a review of the teams’ name”. The boys went back and talked about what happened, why it happened, and the many ramifications that followed because of Fed Ex’s decision that day. The guys talked NBA Free Agency, Thom’s recent trip near Kevin’s neighborhood, and lots more.

Kevin today with a bunch of topics to start the show including the Washington Post story on DC’s effort to land the 2027 NFL Draft. Also, Kevin recapped Brandon Aiyuk’s comments on Ryan Clark’s podcast last week on Jayden Daniels and a potential trade to Washington. Czabe jumped on with Kevin for the final two segments.
