Kevin and Thom today with their 2024 Commanders and NFL predictions. The boys give their official Washington record for the upcoming season with a bold footnote attached. And then it’s division by division predictions with the AFC and NFC wildcard teams and an eventual Super Bowl champion pick. The guys addressed the team firing their VP of Content and talked Ravens-Chiefs as well.
Kevin opened with an emailer suggesting that last year’s Commanders’ roster was better than this year’s. He talked Sam Cosmi contract extension and also addressed the story that broke regarding an employee of the team who trashed players, fans, Jerry Jones, and Roger Goodell. Santana Moss jumped on to preview the upcoming season and long-time local sports television producer Joe Yasharoff called in to talk about Francis Tiafoe’s quarterfinal win at the US Open last night.
Kevin and Thom today with their Commanders’ 2024 season “Best Case/Worst Case” season predictions. Kevin also had five NFL Season “Over-Under Wins” prop bets. Thom talked about his emotional tribute over the weekend to his high school’s football coach during a ceremony at East Stroudsburg High. They boys talked Apple TV’s “Bad Sisters”, the Sherri Papini disappearance hoax, Son of Sam, the White Sox, and Thom’s excitement over finding out that a former Super Bowl quarterback is following him on Instagram.
Kevin solo today with his “Skins’ Top 5 Most Memorable Season Openers”. He also gave an overview of his thoughts heading into the first season in many years where Washington fans can legit dream of better days ahead. He recapped Maryland’s 50-7 win Saturday over UConn, Virginia Tech’s overtime loss at Vanderbilt, and much of the rest of College Football’s first full weekend.
