Kevin and Thom opened with the World Series and then the boys took a look at their preseason Commanders’ predictions and revised them at the halfway mark. An early Thursday Night NFL “Smell Test” pick from Kevin along with some Halloween, Wizards, and Thom’s Skins-Giants prediction to finish up the show.
Kevin opened the show answering an email that compared this year’s Washington team to an all-time Super Bowl champion. Kevin talked Daniels and the Skins’ and Giants’ injury reports in the open as well. Michael Wilbon joined Kevin to talk about the incredible Chicago-Washington ending and a lot more including, Caleb Williams, the NFC landscape, the Wizards, and Cooper Flagg.
Kevin and Thom today with more on Washington’s “Hail Mary” to beat Chicago on Sunday including the penalties on the play that weren’t called. Johnny Newton had himself a game and may be emerging as a major impact player on defense. Kevin was joined by Chris Cooley on the show today to break down the frantic final few minutes of Washington’s incredible 18-15 “Hail Mary” win over Chicago. The boys spent a ton of time on the lead up the “Hail Mary” and then the play itself. Kevin finished up the show with the revelation out of Chicago today from Bears’ Head Coach Matt Eberflus. He also talked about a play that should have been challenged and something Commanders’ Head Coach Dan Quinn said about the defense.
Kevin in following one of the most memorable endings in Washington history. Kevin breaks down the 18-15 miracle win over the Bears courtesy of Jayden Daniels’ “Hail Mary” throw deflected and caught by Noah Brown for a walk-off touchdown. He provided his “Game-Take” analysis and was also joined by Commanders’ TE Zach Ertz from the winning locker room.
