Kevin today with plenty of Commanders’ talk to start including thoughts on Washington’s play-action passing game. Is Jayden Daniels selling play-action effectively or not? Kevin weighed in on the Kirk Cousins’ benching in Atlanta. He responded to Dan Quinn talking about needing to beat good teams if you want to be considered a good team. Kevin played a brief part of his radio interview with Mayor Bowser this morning on the RFK Site plan passing. Is the pressure now on her to get a deal done that the last Mayor (Sharon Pratt Kelly) who had a shot to keep the team in DC couldn’t get done? The rest of Kevin’s conversation with Clinton Portis finished up the show. Lots of Terry McLaurin talk between the guys.

Kevin and Thom today with Thom once again singing the praises of Jayden Daniels. Thom was taken with Daniels’ 4th and 1 conversion in New Orleans. Plenty more on the close call against the Saints before the guys started previewing Sunday’s game in Philadelphia. Kevin believes this game will reveal a lot about Washington’s rest-of-year results. The boys talked “New Orleans” movies, Sam Howell, and the 30 For 30 on the 80’s New York Jets’ pass rush called “The New York Sack Exchange”.

Kevin opened with the good news that Marshon Lattimore practiced fully and is on track to make his Commanders’ debut Sunday against his former team, the Saints. The bad news today is that Noah Brown is out, likely for the season. His injury was a “serious internal injury” and it looks like he’s done for the year. The team signed KJ Osborn off waivers to replace him. Ben Standig jumped on from Ashburn and Kevin had the breaking news in his final segment that Bill Belichick is taking the North Carolina job.
