Kevin and Thom today started with Alex Ovechkin’s first-ever playoff overtime goal to beat Montreal 3-2 in Game 1 of the Caps’ first-round series. Somehow they veered into a conversation about Larry Bird before Kevin talked “edge” rushers in the 2nd segment of the show. They finished up with Kawhi Leonard’s epic performance last night in Denver and Mavs’ owner Nico Harrison admitting that he wasn’t aware how much Dallas fans loved Luka Doncic.
Kevin talked some Caps’ playoffs to open before getting to the NFL Draft. He has a dream draft scenario for the Commanders which he describes. He also had studied and shared his thoughts on the running backs in the draft. ESPN’s John Keim joined Kevin for a ton of draft talk as well.

Kevin then welcomed onto the show, the NFL’s VP of Broadcast Planning, Mike North to talk NFL Schedule. Mike has been one of the NFL’s “schedule makers” for the last three decades.
