Kevin opened with some of the news from ESPN’S Jeremy Fowler over the weekend and Fox Sports’ Henry McKenna today on the current status of Terry McLaurin’s contract negotiations. Kevin then got to President Trump’s tweets yesterday about possibly killing the RFK deal if the team doesn’t go back to Redskins. Eric Flack/WUSA-9 jumped on to talk about Trump’s capability to kill the RFK deal. Kevin finished with Frankie Luvu’s #70 ranking on the “NFL Top 100 List” and more on the signing of Von Miller.

Kevin opened with the news last night that Von Miller is expected to sign with Washington. Then it was Kevin and Thom with lots of Redskins/Commanders past-present talk including more on Terry along with Art Monk jersey retirement email follow. They then discussed the Shaquille O’Neil-RG3 beef. Wizards “Summer League Excitement” finished up the show.

Kevin and Thom today with reaction to Terry McLaurin’s 30+ minute press conference where he expressed frustration, disappointment, confusion, and overall, isn’t very happy right now about contract negotiations. The guys talked Art Monk being the next Skins’ great to have his jersey (#81) retired. Thom weighed in on Jayden Daniels being ranked #5 on the “Top 10 List of QBs” per ESPN’s league survey. Kevin had thoughts on Frankie Luvu making the “Off-Ball Linebackers” Top 10. Thom doesn’t think Mike Rizzo would’ve drafted Eli Willits and Kevin convinced Thom to watch “My Mom Jayne”, a documentary about Jayne Mansfield directed and produced by her daughter, Mariska Hargitay.

Kevin opened the show answering an email from a distraught Cowboys fan before getting to ESPN’s “Top 10 QB Rankings” based on surveys of 70+ NFL coaches, front office execs, and scouts. Al Galdi jumped on to talk about the Nats’ first round/first overall pick in the MLB Draft last night. He also took a guess on when Terry McLaurin will sign a contract extension. Kevin finished up with CBSSports.com’s “NFL Head Coach Rankings” and had thoughts on whether Dan Quinn’s spot in the rankings was fair.

Kevin opened the show answering an email about him using “stop digging” when he talked about the old name this week. Ben Standig jumped on from Las Vegas to talk Wizards Summer League before talking Commanders and joining Kevin in a discussion about who among the Commanders’ players and coaches has the most to prove in 2025. Rich Daniel/Owner-DC Divas was Kevin’s guest in the final segment to talk about the Divas’ championship game tomorrow in Pittsburgh but to also reminisce about the George Michael/Glenn Brenner/Frank Herzog/Steve Buckhantz days of DC TV sports.
