Kevin and Thom today with some responses to emails in the open to the show before getting to the ESPN NFL “Fun” Teams list which has the Commanders at #1! The NFL Top 100 list is down to 22 and Jayden Daniels is still lurking.

Kevin opened by responding to an e-mailer who thinks Kevin was wrong putting John Wall on his “Bullets/Wizards Mount Rushmore”. Kevin played and commented on Dan Quinn’s answers to questions about why Terry McLaurin was absent from Monday night’s game against the Bengals. Logan Paulsen jumped on to talk everything Commanders including a player who Logan thinks is on the verge of having a huge year. Joel Corry/Former NFL Agent was Kevin’s guest to discuss the current state of McLaurin’s contract stand-off with the team.

Kevin and Thom with more on last night’s Commanders-Bengals preseason game including divergent opinions on Jayden Daniels’ touchdown run. The boys discussed Terry McLaurin not showing up for last night’s game a few days after coming off the PUP list. Also, John Wall announced his official retirement from the NBA. Kevin has Wall on his Bullets/Wizards Mount Rushmore and thinks it’s a no-brainer to retire his jersey.

Kevin with a quick 40-minute post-game podcast following Washington’s 31-17 loss to the Bengals. Kevin thought it was a much better overall effort than last week and he highlighted the best and worst of it. Commanders’ RB Chris Rodriguez joined Kevin from Washington’s locker room after the game.

Kevin opened with the latest on Brian Robinson Jr. and the potential for him to get traded or cut. The latest on Terry McLaurin in the open along with Kevin’s key interests in tonight’s game against Cincinnati. Doc Walker jumped on to talk Commanders’ training camp and the things he’s looking for in tonight’s game.

The guys discussed the value appreciation of the Commanders since Josh Harris & Co. purchased the team two years ago. The team ranked 10th among Sportico’s NFL team valuations and 15th overall for all sports. Plenty on Ben Standig’s suggestion that Brian Robinson Jr. might not be on the opening day roster and more on Jayden Daniels’ broken rib.
