Kevin and Thom today on the importance of Sunday’s game against the Giants in week 2. The boys offered up some reasons about why there was a major lack of NFL passing yards and touchdowns in Week 1. They finished up with the Nats, Tyreek Hill, and Thom’s Commanders-Giants prediction.
Kevin opened with a peek ahead to Washington’s game against the Giants and why it ‘smells’ like a trap game. Lots on Jayden Daniels in the opening segment including some follow up on his rushing yardage Sunday in Tampa and why Luke McCaffrey didn’t throw/lateral the ball back to Daniels on a perfectly set-up trick play in the 3rd quarter. Logan Paulsen jumped on to give his analysis of the Tampa Bay game and look ahead to the Commanders’ home opener Sunday against the Giants.
Kevin and Thom opened with some debate talk before getting to Thom’s thoughts on the Commanders’ season-opening loss in Tampa on Sunday. Kevin with his “Upon Further Review” segment included what Dan Quinn said about the 3rd quarter trick play that was wide open but for some reason, didn’t happen. The boys talked Aaron Rodgers and Monday Night Football, recapped some of the other weekend NFL, and Kevin talked Terps’ loss to Michigan State.

Kevin opened the show with his keys to a Washington win over the Buccaneers on Sunday in Tampa along with his prediction on the game. He recapped the Chiefs-Ravens thriller on opening night as well. Then it was Jay Gruden jumping on for his regular “Football Friday” appearance. Jay previewed the Commanders’ season, had a pick/final score on their game with the Bucs, and gave his first “NFL Lock of the Week” of 2024. Kevin finished up the show with 15 “Smell Test” picks and a quick Terps-Michigan State preview.
