Kevin opened with Dan Quinn’s comments on whether or not he considers Washington-Baltimore a rivalry game. Doc Walker jumped on to talk Commanders. Mark Zuckerman then joined Kevin to talk Nats and MLB Playoffs.
Kevin and Thom today already looking ahead to Sunday’s marquee match-up against the Ravens. Lots of discussion about Sunday’s game in Baltimore and what’s possible now that Jayden Daniels and the Commanders’ offense has proven to be near unstoppable. The boys talked some MLB Playoffs and remembered the great Redskins’ cornerback Pat Fischer who passed away at the age of 84.
Kevin back with more on Washington’s 34-13 rout of Cleveland and his belief that they are a very good team. Their 4-1 start is the best since 2008. Kevin with an even more in-depth “Game-Take” on the win which included Jayden’s best “incomplete” pass of the year. He talked other NFL including the Cowboys’ win over Pittsburgh and provided early thoughts on Commanders-Ravens in Week 6.
Kevin in with a quick post-game of Washington’s 34-13 beatdown of the Browns to get to 4-1 on the season for the first time since 2008. He had his “Game-Take” and then had Jon Allen jump on with him from the locker room.
Kevin today with a Washington-Cleveland preview and pick to start the show. He talked a bit about the Thursday Night thriller in Atlanta as well. Jay Gruden jumped on to talk Jayden Daniels, preview Browns-Commanders, and give out his “NFL Lock of the Week”. Kevin finished up with 14 “Smell Test” College and NFL picks.

It starts with the MLB Playoffs, crowd sizes in Baltimore, and the Oakland A’s last stand, before it moved to the Commanders and Jayden Daniels. They discussed the similarities in media and fan reaction between this year’s Daniels-led team and the 2012 RG3-led team. The guys also sliced up the “Offense Success Credit Pie Chart”, Thom had his Washington-Cleveland prediction, and the guys talked about Christine Brennan losing her WNBA credentials.
