Kevin and Thom (not Dickens) spent the show talking about the increased expectations on Washington’s football team as training camp opens, the pressure and expectations that may have chased Simone Biles from the Olympics, the expectation that Mike Rizzo will pull the plug on the Nats’ all time greatest.

Clinton Portis joined Kevin on the eve of training camp to talk all things Washington Football. CP is excited about Ryan Fitzpatrick and thinks the team is good enough to go 11-6. He also said that he’d trade anything for Aaron Rodgers. He weighed in on the reports that Houston was ready to trade DeShaun Watson too. The guys talked NFC East, vaccines, WFT’s name, and more. Kevin finished up with the latest on Bradley Beal, the Nats, and a few thoughts on the Olympics so far.

Kevin and Thom talked Tarantino movies to start and then followed up on ESPN Sam Acho’s declaration that Washington is Tampa Bay’s biggest challenger in the NFC. The boys debated how a successful 2021 WFT season should be defined in the 2nd segment before Kevin scolded Thom for his Naomi Osaka tweet to finish up the show.

Kevin today with a recap of the Bucks’ NBA Championship close-out win over the Suns. Kevin talked about an NFL analyst who believes Washington is 2nd only to the Bucs in the NFC. Long-time NFL Exec Andrew Brandt joined the show to talk Aaron Rodgers and weigh-in on the WFT.

Kevin and Thom opened with the Adam Schefter story that Aaron Rodgers turned down a Packers offer that would’ve made him the highest paid player in the NFL. The guys got to the Wes Unseld Jr. hiring in the 2nd segment of the show and dug into Ted Leonsis’ comments that seemed to be criticism directed towards Scott Brooks. They finished up the show with what Ryan Fitzpatrick admitted to an ESPN podcast.
