Upon further review, he had a few new thoughts about Washington’s win over the Giants on Thursday night. He finished up the show with Steve Suter/Terps Radio Newtork as a guest to discuss Maryland’s win Friday night over Illinois.

Kevin recaps Washington’s 30-29 thriller over the Giants with his game-take featuring lists of what he liked, didn’t like, and more. At 52:15, former Washington coach Jay Gruden joined the show with his thoughts on last night’s game along with a preview of some of the key NFL games this weekend. Kevin finished with a boatload (14) of College and NFL “Smell Test” picks.

Also, the list of 30 Washington Football quarterbacks that have started games for the franchise since 1993 were ranked in an ESPN story. The boys discussed that and also gave out predictions on Taylor Heinicke’s box score as well.

Kevin opened with thoughts on why he’s confident Taylor Heinicke might play well tomorrow night and the concerns he has that may lead to a less impressive game. Kevin thinks the Giants are better than most people think and explained why. Washington Football Super Bowl Champion Brad Edwards was a guest to talk about this year’s team and the team he played on in 1991.

Kevin and Thom today open the show with what might be the start of the Taylor Heinicke era? He’s got an opportunity that was far from guaranteed when the team signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one-year $10million deal. They went back to tie up some loose ends from Sunday’s loss to the Chargers and then they weighed in on the Peyton-Eli Monday Night Football alternate broadcast on ESPN 2.
