Kevin led with Maryland’s win over Purdue and the Wizards ugly no-defense loss to Portland. Then it was JP Finlay/NBCSports Washington on the show talking about a report out of Las Vegas that the Raiders could deal Derrick Carr to Washington for two first-round picks as part of a 3-way deal involving Deshaun Watson to the Raiders. Tim Murray/VSIN came on with Kevin to talk Super Bowl wagering but the two old friends ended up analyzing this year’s college basketball season too.
Kevin and Thom today considering a potential Washington trade up in the draft to select Ohio State QB Justin Fields. What about a re-draft of 2020….would WFT take Justin Herbert over Chase Young? A lot more on the show that’s hard to describe but worthy of a listen for some of you.
Cooley and Kevin discussed the big Stafford to Rams trade from Saturday and the earnest attempt Washington made to bring Stafford to DC. Plenty of what’s next now that WFT has admitted that they are looking to upgrade at quarterback. The boys discussed Jay Gruden’s shot at Dan Snyder and talked about the wild Wizards win last night.
Cooley and Kevin today with some some Super Bowl thoughts a week in advance before getting into a lengthy conversation about Deshaun Watson’s worth and whether or not Washington should be aggressive in trying to acquire him. Also, should Washington move on from Landon Collins? The boys debated what Collins would be worth in a trade.
Kevin and Thom today. Thom got his vaccine shot. Would either get aggressive and trade for Deshaun Watson even if it included dealing Chase Young? They answered. Is it time to trade Beal and would either rescind the Wall for Westbrook trade if they could? Lots on that and more.
Kevin, Ben Standig/The Athletic, and Scott Van Pelt on the Matt Stafford possibility. A lot more on WFT as well. Kevin also took time to remember a day that will live in infamy for Maryland Basketball fans…..the “Miracle Minute” loss to Duke 20 years ago tonight.
