Kevin and Thom today with thoughts on a USA Today Wire story that credited Dan Snyder for a changing Redskins’ culture. The boys also picked their favorite sports broadcast booth of all time. Thom weighed in on Urban Meyer’s comments the other day about Dwayne Haskins and they spent time debating ESPN’s Top 74 all-time NBA List.
Kevin solo today with a conversation that is both virus and politics free. He opened with thoughts on Urban Meyer’s defense of Dwayne Haskins’ first year in DC. Meyer was on an NFL Network podcast and ripped into the Skins’ organizational culture. Also on the show today, Kevin tells you where ESPN got it wrong on its all-time NBA Player list.
Kevin and Thom argued,lectured, provided misinformation, and had questionable opinions all day. They talked testing, herd immunity, NFL and MLB resumption possibilities, “The Last Dance”, NFL MVP odds and more. For some reason, they enjoy each other’s company.
Kevin recapped the Redskins’ schedule which was prime-time free for the first time since 1982. He gave a first-blush “best-case/worst-case” Skins’ record for 2020. Scott Van Pelt jumped on for a few minutes to talk NFL Schedule, “The Last Dance”, and more.
Kevin opened the show vowing that this year’s “Mock Schedule” will be his last. Thom was in and the guys talked about Jack Del Rio’s latest tweet. Thom shared his thoughts on the Dwayne Haskins letter and then the guys talked about Caps’ winger Brendan Leipsic’s private messages that have prompted apologies and a league investigation.
