Kevin in with a short recap of Washington’s 48-18 loss to the Patriots in the preseason opener for both teams. Commanders’ defensive tackle Johnny Newton joined Kevin from the locker room in Foxborough. Kevin responded to the latest news on the Terry McLaurin situation on the show as well.

Kevin and Thom today respond to the report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that Terry McLaurin wants $32 million per year and the Commanders have only offered $23 million per year. Thom thinks the possibility of a trade has increased. The boys talked about the increased intensity of media coverage around Washington this summer which came to a head during yesterday’s joint practice in Foxboro with the Patriots. Aiden Hutchinson, the Nats, Thom’s World Series winner prediction, and the 80’s Orioles all a part of today’s show.

Kevin opened with whether or not fans are getting exhausted with the Terry-Commanders contract negotiation and who that favors. John Ourand/Puck News was a guest to describe the ESPN-NFL Network deal and whether or not it might revive Washington’s old name (Redskins).

Kevin and Thom today opened with their annual discussion on “Training Camp” fan declarations before turning to the on-going stalemate between Terry McLaurin and the Commanders. The boys gave their predictions on the outcome. Then they both reacted to Jayden Daniels admitting that he played last year with a broken rib against the Bears in the “Hail Mary” game.
