Kevin and Thom today with a show that offers as much variety in topics as there are opinions on quarterbacks in the NFL Draft. The show’s first segment started with Kevin talking about being at the Wizards-Lakers game last night and somehow ended with John Glenn’s 1962 orbiting of the earth. The guys had plenty of NFL Draft talk in the 2nd segment which included the wide-ranging opinions on many of the top QBs. The guys finished with the Caps, DJ Burns Jr. saying no to football, and some follow-up on the Stefon Diggs’ trade.
Kevin opened the show with some Commanders’ sound from the first day of the offseason workout program. You’ll hear Sam Cosmi and Terry McLaurin on the show and you’ll hear Kevin discuss whether or not Washington will draft a WR in the first three rounds of the draft later this month. Kevin also had some help in solving the “did Brian Kelly let something slip on Jayden Daniels” last week case. John Ourand/Puck News jumped on to talk about the incredible ratings for the Iowa-LSU game on Monday night and how big of a TV ratings needle-mover Caitlin Clark has become.
Kevin and Thom opened the show talking about last night’s Iowa-LSU “Elite 8” game. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese put on a show that lived up to the billing. Kevin has a new QB crush and got called out for it. The boys talked Nats’ home opener, the Commanders’ new LB addition, the Wizards’ and Caps’ new alt casts, and much more.
Kevin opened with an email from a fan who didn’t love the Dan Quinn hire initially but has changed his mind. Kevin discussed the Commanders’ two additions today and talked about Brandon Aiyuk’s potential trade availability. Plenty of Elite 8 and Final 4 talk including with Jimmy Patsos who jumped on for the final two segments of the show.
Kevin opened with some comments from Drake Maye about the Commanders’ and LSU coach Brian Kelly’s “for Washington” slip. He talked “Sweet 16” games and had an “Elite 8” smell test pick for tonight. Then it was back to back guests who shared their Washington QB preference. Al Galdi jumped on to discuss his thoughts on Washington’s big draft day decision and then Chris Cillizza was a guest to talk about his newest ventures which includes writing a ton about sports.
