Kevin and Thom today with reaction to the ESPN story that broke this afternoon that Josh Harris pitched his co-investors on the exciting possibility that Virginia would pay $1.5 billion towards a new stadium…the most by far of any local jurisdiction. The guys got to that story in the final segment of the show today as the story came out. Before that, plenty of discussion about the desire among the fans both past/present for a Washington team “re-brand”. Kevin is joined by frequent guest Howard Gutman to discuss what he knows about the Commanders’ sale to the Josh Harris group. Kevin on the news that came yesterday that Dan Snyder and Josh Harris have a signed deal. The only thing between Dan being gone for good and Josh Harris taking over is NFL approval which seems very likely. Kevin’s thoughts on the past, the present, and what’s next all included in today’s show.

Ben Standig/The Athletic jumped on to discuss some recent Ron Rivera remarks about Sam Howell and his own future. Ben talked rookie mini-camp and NBA Playoffs with Kevin as well.
