Kevin today on Magic Johnson’s comments on “The Today Show” about his potential ownership of the Washington Commanders. Kevin talked a bit about UConn’s National Championship win over San Diego State and whether or not the Huskies have become a college basketball “blue blood”. Matt Paras/Washington Times jumped on to talk Commanders and Fordham Coach Keith Urgo was a guest on the show today. Keith is from the area, just produced the best season Fordham has had in decades….he talked about his journey, the state of college basketball, and more.

Kevin and Thom today with some news towards the end of the show related to Magic Johnson’s investment as part of the Josh Harris bid for the Washington Commanders. Before that, a menu of educational excellence which includes classes on Maryland geography, religious cults, and Coen Brothers movies/shows. The boys discussed the LSU-Iowa NCAA Women’s Final and the aftermath involving Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. Kevin was 2-0 ATS on his “Smell Test” picks from Saturday’s Final 4 games…he’s got one more for tonight’s UConn-San Diego State championship game.

Kevin joined today by Fred Smoot and Jimmy Patsos. Kevin was all ears on Smoot’s “Married QB” theory. They also talked a ton about the Commanders’ current QB situation, Chase Young, and lots on the NFL Draft. Jimmy and Kevin discussed the Final 4 among many subjects which included best burgers in town, living next to Doug Williams when Williams was the Skins’ QB, Waco, and much more.

Kevin with two guests on the show today. Howard Gutman jumped on to discuss what he knows about the Josh Harris bid for the Commanders. He’s a friend/advisor to Mitchell Rales and has tremendous insight on the bid and the kind of owners they would be if they were to acquire the team. Then it was Maryland Basketball Coach Kevin Willard who gave Kevin big news on the prospect of an annual Maryland-Georgetown game.

Kevin and Thom today on whether or not they believe that Ron Rivera’s assertion that he’ll “play the guy that gives us the best chance to win” means there will be a full-fledged training camp quarterback competition. They discussed the ownership reports from yesterday, Thom’s first Springsteen concert, the Nats’ 2023 season, and more.

Kevin opened with the breaking news today that not one but two $6 billion bids have been submitted to Dan Snyder for the Commanders. Al Galdi jumped on with Kevin to recap the Ron Rivera media get-together in Phoenix today. The guys discussed the Rivera’s comments on the quarterbacks and whether or not Sam Howell and Jacoby Brissett will legitimately compete for an ‘open’ job.
