Kevin with a preview of the biggest Washington-NY Giants game in many years. He’s got his keys to the game and a prediction. Bram Weinstein jumped on with his thoughts on Sunday’s showdown. Kevin had six “Smell Test” picks and his friend Joe Yasharoff was a guest at the end of the show to talk about Sunday’s Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame inductees which include Steve Francis and Tim Kurkjian.

Kevin and Thom today with some sophisticated soccer talk coupled with a breakdown of the National Christmas Tree Lighting to start. Then Kevin took a dive into the playoff picture and came to a conclusion on how many wins Washington will need to make the playoffs. The boys also talked about whether or not it’s reasonable to consider Carson Wentz over Taylor Heinicke right now. The off-season Commanders’ price tag on Daron Payne and more on the show as well.

Kevin opened with Maryland’s rout of Louisville last night. Kevin talked some soccer, college football playoff rankings then got to Ron Rivera’s 3rd year off-season promise. Included in that discussion was Kevin admitting that the conversation about going to Carson Wentz right now isn’t crazy. Doc Walker jumped on with his thoughts on the Commanders’ 6-1 run over the last 7 weeks. Then it was Hall-Of-Fame Coach Gary Williams who told Kevin why Maryland has had so much early-season success in Kevin Willard’s first year. Nick Akridge/PFF was a guest to finish up the show with some Washington player grades from Sunday’s win over the Falcons.

Jay Gruden jumped on for a few minutes to talk about the Commanders’ third straight win and where they rank right now among the likely NFC playoff teams. Kevin went “Around the NFL” and then brought ESPN’s “Stanford Steve” on the show to talk about the college football weekend and project the playoff field. Kevin finished up the show with Maryland’s blowout win over Rutgers to finish up a 7-5 regular season.
