Kevin today on the buzz coming out of camp about Carson Wentz’ accuracy issues. Doc Walker will be calling the preseason games with Kenny Albert on NBC Sports-Washington. He jumped on with Kevin to discuss what he’s been seeing up close through the first week and a half of camp.

Kevin’s interview with Washington Commanders’ OC Scott Turner on the show today. Also, NFL agent and former Washington salary cap analyst J.I. Halsell jumped on to talk about the Kyler Murray/Arizona Cardinals situation from last week.

Kevin loved his conversation with ESPN Senior NFL writer Jason Reid about his recently-released book “Rise of the Black Quarterback; What It Means For America”. Jason covered the Redskins as a reporter/columnist for several years and had some great Joe Gibbs/Doug Williams stories including one that most of you haven’t heard. From Marlon Briscoe to Lamar Jackson, Jason’s book covers the history of black quarterbacks in pro football. He also weighed in with thoughts on Carson Wentz and had a prediction for the Commanders’ upcoming season.

Kevin with Al Galdi today discussing the aftermath of the Juan Soto trade to San Diego. Some Commanders’ talk as well along with Kevin’s thoughts on Vin Scully and the legendary call that most don’t remember Scully making.
