Kevin opened the show by responding to an email about Jayden Daniels’ 47 sacks (6th most in NFL) in 2024. Former Wizards coach Randy Wittman joined Kevin to talk about several things including comments Marcin Gortat made about him last year, whether or not he thought there was a chance in 2016 that Kevin Durant would come here, Knicks-Pacers/Thunder-Timberwolves, and what kind of pro Maryland’s Derik Queen will be. Kevin finished up with Nats, NHL, Maryland Basketball recruiting, and the on-going Ryan Clark-RG3 saga over a foul in a WNBA game.

Kevin opened with Saquon Barkley’s comments that the 2024 Eagles were a “top-5 all time team”. Mike North/VP of Broadcast Planning & Scheduling joined Kevin to talk about the 2025 NFL Schedule. Lots on the challenges of making Washington’s schedule along with why the Commanders didn’t get selected for the league’s “Kickoff” game in Philadelphia to start the season. Mike talked about the Commanders game that never had a chance of being scheduled and the opponent that Washington nearly opened up against instead of the Giants. Kevin finished up with the Nats’ 5th straight win and the NBA Playoffs.

Kevin and Thom opened with Jayden Daniels topics including a recent photo that has people believing that he’s stronger/bulkier than he was last year. The boys also talked about where Jayden might land on the “NFL Top 100” list that comes out later in the summer. Plenty on last night’s Knicks-Pacers classic. Old-school NBA talk as well featuring Thom’s latest You Tube fascination…John Stockton. The guys also with more on the “Tush Push” vote, thoughts on Dan Quinn’s commencement speech at Salisbury, and lots more.

Kevin opened with news on Terry McLaurin, the announcement that Washington will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks next year, and the “Tush Push” staying alive…barely. John Wall joined Kevin on the show to talk about his 5-time NBA All-Star career in Washington and a lot more including his thoughts on the two NBA conference championship series. Champions Tour and local golf legend Fred Funk jumped on to talk about the Senior PGA Championship which starts tomorrow at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda.

Kevin and Thom today opened with a recap of Thom’s “Cigars & Curveballs” fundraiser last night. The boys talked about the two big NFL League Meeting votes scheduled for tomorrow. First, will the Tush Push be outlawed along with other pushes and pulls? And…will the league change the playoff format and seed based on record? Plenty of discussion on both along with Kevin’s idea to play division opponents three times a year instead of twice when the league moves to an 18-game schedule. Juan Soto, RG3/Ryan Clark, the Sacramento Athletics, two Wizards make the NBA “All Rookie” team, and the NBA Conference Finals all part of the show as well.
