Thom is back with Kevin today. They caught up on the busy week Thom missed including getting his thoughts on the Wentz trade. The guys considered the Trubisky to Pittsburgh deal and whether or not that path would’ve been a better one for Washington. Thom is in West Palm and talked Nats’ Spring Training while Kevin used his own made-up formula for determining the teams that can legitimately win the NCAA Tournament.
Kevin today with a ton of follow up to so much news from over the weekend. Carson Wentz wrote a letter to Colts’ fans which included thoughts on his move to Washington. Tom Brady is back, Deshaun Watson won’t be charged criminally, Scott Turner got an extension, the NCAA Tournament field is set, and NFL Free Agency is underway. A Cooley and Kevin day for much of the show. Cooley weighed in on the Carson Wentz trade and more. Kevin also had Jeff Ermann/Inside MD Sports on the show to talk about the Terps’ loss to Michigan State last night and the MD coaching search. Kevin finished up the show solo with his thoughts on a crazy Washington Commanders’ week and shared some info on why Washington felt like Wentz was necessary.

Then it was Sam Monson/Pro Football Focus to discuss Wentz’s 2021 season and compare what Washington got with Wentz to others that they may have had a chance to get.
