Kevin opened with yesterday’s NFL craziness including comparing Washington with another 2-6 franchise, Jacksonville. Kevin recapped the Wizards weekend and then had SIX WFT predictions for the rest of the year. Jeff Ermann/Inside MD Sports jumped on to talk about Maryland’s 31-14 loss to Penn State and to help preview Maryland Basketball which opens tomorrow night.
Ron Rivera went public with some frustration about Chase Young and Montez Sweat’s play through 8 games…Kevin solo on that to start the show. He’s got 14 “Smell Test” picks including a pick that he says represents the perfect “Smell Test” selection. Also, Kevin on MD-Penn State and College “Dead Money”.
Kevin opened with the news that Aaron Rodgers is out this Sunday after testing positive for Covid-19 as an unvaccinated player. Kevin then got to the report yesterday that the Washington Football Team had conversations with the Bills about acquiring Mitch Trubisky before yesterday’s trade deadline. Some other WFT and NFL talk on the show too. Former Terps’ basketball player Kevin McLinton joined the show. Kevin is a native Washingtonian and the guys talked WFT, Wizards, Terps, and more. Kevin finished up with his weekly look-back on the 1991 Washington Redskins and their game 30 years ago today against the Houston Oilers.
Kevin and Thom today on a lot of different subjects including what Ron Rivera said yesterday about Taylor Heinicke, Chris Blewitt, and the 3-5 year culture rebuild. The boys talked some more about the Denver loss, discussed the trade deadline, and got to the Chiefs-Giants, Mr. Snyder, the World Series, and the Wizards’ loss too.

Kevin opened with last night’s spectacular Green Bay win over Arizona. So much to the game and Kevin touched on much of it. Then it was time to preview and pick Washington’s game at Denver on Sunday. Then, at 1:16:00, Super Bowl 26 MVP Mark Rypien joined the show to talk some 1991 Super Bowl season and to share his thoughts on the current 2021 WFT.
