Roger Goodell on behalf of the NFL said the findings of the Beth Wilkenson report would not be released and stated that Dan Snyder “has been held accountable”. Kevin welcomed long-time Williams-Connolly attorney and former US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman on the show today to discuss/recap the comments yesterday from Goodell about the many Washington Football Team situation(s). Also, Kevin on one of the biggest regular season games in Washington history 30 yrs ago tonight against the Giants.
Kevin and Thom opened with some Dusty Baker/World Series talk and then got to the Washington Football Team. Much of the WFT conversation today was about the way Ron Rivera talked about Taylor Heinicke yesterday and whether or not it was an indication that they are still in the mode of wanting to see more of him. Thom doesn’t know how Kevin is able to watch the NBA…that was the finishing conversation on the show today.
Kevin recapped Washington’s 24-10 loss in Green Bay to drop them to 2 and 5 on the season. WFT radio play-by-play voice Bram Weinstein joined the show with his thoughts. Kevin talked other NFL, the Penn-State-Illinois 9-OT game, and Maryland’s loss at Minnesota.

Kevin and Thom today on the rumors yesterday that had the Dolphins trading quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to Washington. The rumors were shot down by most but it still begs the question, what are they going to do about quarterback? The guys discussed that along with Taylor Heinicke’s comments yesterday about not playing the way he likes to play. Also, the latest on the Bruce Allen emails including Dan Snyder’s response to speculation that he was the source of the leaks. The guys recapped the Wizards’ opening night win as well.
