Kevin opened with thoughts on why he’s confident Taylor Heinicke might play well tomorrow night and the concerns he has that may lead to a less impressive game. Kevin thinks the Giants are better than most people think and explained why. Washington Football Super Bowl Champion Brad Edwards was a guest to talk about this year’s team and the team he played on in 1991.
Kevin and Thom today open the show with what might be the start of the Taylor Heinicke era? He’s got an opportunity that was far from guaranteed when the team signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one-year $10million deal. They went back to tie up some loose ends from Sunday’s loss to the Chargers and then they weighed in on the Peyton-Eli Monday Night Football alternate broadcast on ESPN 2.
Cooley is back with Kevin today to recap Washington’s 20-16 loss to the Chargers. The guys went through the defensive and pass protection issues along with Ron Rivera’s 4th and 7 decision to punt midway through the 4th qtr. They also discussed each and every NFL game from Week 1.
