Kevin opened the show with a detailed recap of Washington’s 20-9 win over Cincinnati. Thom joined the show (Cooley tomorrow) with his thoughts and then the conversation turned towards how and what Alex Smith’s recent performances actually mean. They talked about some of the other NFL games including the Chiefs-Raiders classic and the Colts win over the Packers. Kevin defended Kirk per usual and then the boys talked about the Friday layoffs of three of their friends at The Team 980.
Cooley and Kevin are in agreement about Washington beating Cincinnati on Sunday. Their show today includes a preview, final score prediction, and a discussion about Ron Rivera’s comments to Cincinnati media that Washington would have taken Joe Burrow at #2 if the Bengals had taken Chase Young. Add to all of that, Kevin also has the most picks (Smell Test) he’s ever had and Cooley’s “Lock of the Week” is a Friday night ACC matchup.
Kevin and Thom opened with news on the “Frederick” virus. Then it was a conversation about last nights NBA draft and the Wizards’ pick before they got to whether or not Ron Rivera is souring on local media coverage of the team. Kevin had some Vegas NFL “tells”…..Thom had his Washington- Cincinnati prediction.
Cooley and Kevin today with Cooley’s “Film Breakdown” which included a discussion about the final Lions’ completion and how badly it was either called and/or executed. His grading also included the worst grade of the year for Chase Young. Chase Hughes/NBCSports Washington jumped on with Kevin to talk Wizards-Rockets Wall for Westbrook and the NBA Draft.
Kevin and Thom open the show disagreeing on just about everything from Aqib Talib to Alex Smith. Then Cooley jumped in with his “Film Breakdown” of the offense from Sunday’s loss to the Lions.
Cooley and Kevin with a total recap of Washington’s 30-27 loss in Detroit. Is Alex Smith now a long-term consideration? Plenty on the rest of the NFL and the Masters too.
