Kevin had some Redskins news about their plans in free agency to start the show. He recapped Skins’ VP of Player Personnel Kyle Smith’s press conference from yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine. The boys finished up with Duke’s loss and the impact it could have on Maryland’s NCAA Tournament seeding.
Kevin and Thom opened with the latest on Trent Williams and then got into Doug Williams’ comments on Dwayne Haskins. They discussed overrated sports events in honor of this week’s NFL Indy Combine. They talked more Fury-Wilder 2 and then finished with Bradley Beal’s back to back 50+ pt games.
Kevin and Thom open with Thom’s trip yesterday to Urgent Care. They got to the Redskins’ news of the day which includes Jordan Reed’s release and Quinton Dunbar once again asking for a trade or release. They discussed the all time Redskin “What Ifs”. Also, what Davey Johnson told Thom about the Astros cheating scandal. Some Fury-Wilder 2 talk followed by Aaron and Kevin previewing a big college hoops weekend finished up the show.
Chris Cooley joined Kevin for an hour of the show today. They talked Bloomberg’s choke debate performance and then got into a ton of Redskins’ topics. The discussion included Adrian Peterson, Jordan Reed, Trent Williams, Ryan Kerrigan, and a hypothetical “if Joe Burrow is available at #2”. Kevin and Aaron finished up with the potential for a new NFL Playoff format and some college hoops.
Thom joined the show by phone from Nats’ Spring Training in West Palm Beach. The guys talked Astros cheating, Daytona 500 crash, along with plenty on the Redskins. Assuming Alex Smith doesn’t come back, who should the Redskins add at quarterback? Mike Tomlin defended Mason Rudolph and the Terps with a game tonight to keep their Big 10 lead.
