Kevin opened with a complete Super Bowl game take/recap. Chris Cooley joined him and they debated whether or not the 49ers won it or the Chiefs blew it. Kevin talked Alex Smith’s appearance on ESPN’s Outside the Lines where Smith admitted that he’s lucky to be alive. Kevin and Aaron talked Super Bowl ads, 2020 NFL odds, and some weekend hoops as well.
Kevin opened with the Terps’ win over Iowa before turning to Bradley Beal’s All-Star snub. Kevin weighed in on Ron Rivera’s interview with Doc Walker and Al Galdi on Team980. Super Bowl talk dominated the last part of the show. Kevin had a Smell Test pick. Aaron had a ton of prop bets to consider. Both Kevin and Aaron made Super Bowl picks.
Kevin and Thom opened the show with stories of Super Bowl trips together. They discussed Kyle Shanahan’s comments about Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins. Sports fans never got to see Kobe vs LeBron in the NBA Finals….what tops the list of other sports matchups we never got to see? The boys discussed the ramifications and had ideas about the NFL moving to a 17-game schedule. They finished up with Dusty Baker to Houston and Thom’s Super Bowl pick.
Kevin opened with Peter King’s comment that the Redskins could get a huge haul for the #2 pick in the NFL Draft. Kevin made the case for/case against trading the pick. He talked about “TNT’s Inside the NBA” show last night where there were moving comments from Shaq and Jerry West and dramatic details from Rick Fox on what Sunday was like for him. Kevin and Aaron finished up with Coach K going off last night, the Wizards, and something to consider when thinking about the Skins’ 2021 schedule.
Kevin and Thom today with lots more on Kobe Bryant’s death, the reporting of it, and his basketball legacy. They debated where he ranks on the all-time NBA list of greatest players. They also talked about the Chiefs’ previous Super Bowl team, Dusty Baker to Houston, and the an all-time NBA comeback last night.
