Kevin opens the show with a recap of Golden State’s dramatic Game 5 win over Houston last night. Bobby Marks/ESPN was a guest on the show talking NBA Playoffs, Wizards, etc. Michael Phillips/Richmond Times-Dispatch was on the show previewing Redskins’ mini-camp. Scott Van Pelt called in to talk NBA Playoffs and Tony Romo’s attempt at the Byron Nelson. Some Nats’ conversation also with Aaron.
Kevin opens the show talking about whether or not the optimism about the Redskins’ defense is warranted. He and Aaron spent some time on the Nats’ late-inning meltdown in Milwaukee. Kevin talked NBA Playoffs and the “woe is me” vibe Joel Embiid is spreading. He finished up with a few NFL surprise teams in 2019.
The Redskins’ offseason is pretty much done now. Kevin discussed what he liked, what he didn’t like, and graded it out. He gets to the two NBA Playoff games last night then to the Nats loss in Milwaukee with MASN’s Mark Zuckerman. Maryland basketball got a commitment from 7-2 center Chol Mariol. Kevin opened with the Nats’ win and the firing of their pitching coach. Andy Pollin was a guest with his thoughts on the Theismann jersey debate and Bobby Beathard who retired 30 years ago this weekend.
