A heavy-guest day for Kevin who opened the show with Al Koken joining in to recap the Caps’ 4-3 Game 2 loss to the Rangers. Then it was Ralph Vacchiano/FOX Sports-NFC East jumping on to discuss what he’s been reporting about Jayden Daniels and Washington’s draft plans. Jay Gruden was next talking about his experience preparing for past drafts, how he went about evaluating quarterbacks, revealing his Washington choice at #2, and a lot more. And then it was former Maryland QB Scott McBrien with his thoughts on what the Commanders’ should do at #2.

Kevin and Thom today with some NBA Playoffs, Nats, and Caps to start. Plenty on the Commanders and NFL Draft including addressing signs that Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy is still in the running for #2 overall. Thom told the story of his communication with Jayden Daniels’ PR Agency and the boys weighed in on the Caitlin Clark’s $28 million dollar shoe deal with Nike.

Kevin opened with the Caps’ loss in Game 1 to the Rangers before getting to the Nats, NBA Playoffs, and of course, the NFL Draft. There is sound on the show from Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and Daniel Jeremiah/NFL Network who seems to have changed his mind on who the Commanders will select at #2 overall. Chris Cooley jumped on for the remainder of the show with his “film” breakdowns of Maye and Caleb Williams. Cooley reveals how he ranks the top 4 QBs in the draft as well.

Kevin back from a few days off with a special Sunday podcast which includes ESPN’s John Keim for much of it. Kevin opened with his recap and thoughts on the Jayden Daniels’ noise late last week which started with his agent. Kevin included his definitive opinion on who he thinks Washington will take at #2. John jumped on and the boys talked specifically about the importance or lack thereof about the Daniels’ agent intrusion along with strong opinions on who the Commanders will take and why. Other positions like left tackle, tight end, wide receiver, and cornerback we’re discussed as well.
