Kevin opened the show with the breaking news this afternoon that the Wizards and Caps are staying in DC for the next 25 years. He also discussed Jayden Daniels’ “Pro Day”, more on the kickoff return rule, and the Caps. Then it was Ben Standig/The Athletic talking Commanders and his first “Mock Draft”.

They recapped Dan Quinn and Josh Harris’ comments today down at the NFL league meetings in Orlando. They also shared their thoughts on the NFL approving the new “kickoff rule”, NFL Christmas Day games in 2024 on a Wednesday, Shohei Ohtani’s statement on his interpreter’s gambling losses, and more.

Kevin opened with the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reporting that executives he’s talked to in Orlando (site of NFL League meetings) say Washington will take Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy at #2 overall in the April NFL Draft. Plenty of NCAA Tournament reaction as well before Kevin got to comments made by Adam Peters today in Orlando about Jon Allen, Jamin Davis, the offensive line, and what the plans are for #2 in the draft. Kevin also had Patrick Everson/Vegas Insider on the show to talk about the big weekend had by “public” betting on the NCAA Tournament.

Kevin opened with the NCAA Tournament and recent reports that Washington’s brass is leaning Jayden Daniels at #2 in the NFL Draft. Kevin also had four more “Smell Test” picks for Friday’s first-round NCAA games. Brad Spielberger/PFF jumped on to talk Commanders’ and other NFL free agency along with which QB he likes for Washington in the draft.

All three games are night games. The boys responded to the claim Cleveland Cavs’ coach J.B. Bickerstaff made about being threatened by sports gambler(s) and discussed Shohei Ohtani’s potential involvement in paying off a $4.5 billion gambling debt for his friend and interpreter. Dan and Tanya Snyder donated their Potomac, Maryland home to charity….the guys finished up with that.
