The opening segment included Dartmouth’s basketball team unionizing, the “greatest NBA Finals game ever”, college basketball losing popularity, the witness protection program, mafia “testimonial” dinner shenanigans by Thom, and more. Then, the boys talked about “the process” by which the Commanders will choose their next quarterback. They finished up with thoughts on RG3’s defense of Russell Wilson and some Nats’ spring training talk.

Kevin opened the show discussing Washington’s league-leading salary cap space while wondering whether or not the team will spend freely. Kevin talked about Justin Fields as an alternative plan if the team doesn’t fall in love with any of the quarterbacks in the draft. Phil Mackey/Purple Daily Podcast jumped on to talk about Kirk Cousins’ next move and if Washington could be a surprise destination. Kevin finished up the show talking about the release of Russell Wilson and the Wizards’ approaching a franchise record.
