Kevin’s recap of the ugly 37-3 loss to the Bills starts the show. He gets to Sam Howell’s rough day immediately and then has his “game-take”. Fred Smoot joined Kevin for the final segment of the show.

Kevin opens the show picking Washington to upset Buffalo on Sunday at Fed Ex. He gives his reasons why and his keys to pulling it off.

Jay Gruden jumped on to talk about the Commanders’ win in Denver, preview the Bills game, and give his NFL “Lock of the Week”.

Ryan O’Halloran/Buffalo News was a guest to talk Bills and Kevin finished up the show with 12 College and NFL “Smell Test Picks”.

Kevin and Thom today opened with Kevin discussing some of his superstitious/OCD issues when it comes to watching sports. The boys discussed what they’ve been most surprised by during the Commanders’ 2-0 start to the season. Eric Bieniemy said something today that they guys reacted to and Thom made his Washington-Buffalo prediction. The RFK site’s progress was part of the show today as well.

Cooley makes his season debut on the show and he was impressed with Washington’s 35-33 win in Denver. He did an in-depth film breakdown of Sam Howell’s game and Eric Bieniemy’s game-plan and play-calling. Plenty on the rest of the offense, the differences in the defense early in the game versus late, and thoughts on a few of the key plays and some of Ron Rivera’s strategic decisions too.
