Kevin opened with the good news that Marshon Lattimore practiced fully and is on track to make his Commanders’ debut Sunday against his former team, the Saints. The bad news today is that Noah Brown is out, likely for the season. His injury was a “serious internal injury” and it looks like he’s done for the year. The team signed KJ Osborn off waivers to replace him. Ben Standig jumped on from Ashburn and Kevin had the breaking news in his final segment that Bill Belichick is taking the North Carolina job.
Kevin and Thom today opened with Juan Soto’s $765 Million contract in New York with the Mets. Kevin went off on Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys after a boneheaded loss to the Bengals. The boys finished up with where the Commanders rank among NFC contenders.
Kevin opened with Washington’s scoreboard watching on their bye week. There was more good than bad. Kevin has all of the updated playoff scenarios on the show to start. Kevin opened with a bye week reflection on the incredible rookie season Jayden Daniels has produced so far. Kevin thinks all boxes have been checked except one. He explains. Jay Gruden jumped on to talk about last night’s Lions-Packers game, revisit Commanders-Titans, and preview the upcoming NFL Sunday slate.
