Snyder also met with Mary Jo White according to the Post report. Now comes a vote on Thursday and the closing of the purchase shortly thereafter. The guys talked about the moment they knew Snyder as an owner had doomed the franchise. They also discussed where the Snyder exit ranks among the most important DC “non-game” sports stories. Legendary Washington Post reporter/editor Len Shapiro jumped on with Kevin to talk about covering Snyder during the early days. During their conversation, Shapiro mentioned that before his passing, Jack Kent Cooke was considering changing the name of the team.
