Kevin today with a Washington-Cleveland preview and pick to start the show. He talked a bit about the Thursday Night thriller in Atlanta as well. Jay Gruden jumped on to talk Jayden Daniels, preview Browns-Commanders, and give out his “NFL Lock of the Week”. Kevin finished up with 14 “Smell Test” College and NFL picks.
Kevin and Thom today with a diverse offering of conversation. It starts with the MLB Playoffs, crowd sizes in Baltimore, and the Oakland A’s last stand, before it moved to the Commanders and Jayden Daniels. They discussed the similarities in media and fan reaction between this year’s Daniels-led team and the 2012 RG3-led team. The guys also sliced up the “Offense Success Credit Pie Chart”, Thom had his Washington-Cleveland prediction, and the guys talked about Christine Brennan losing her WNBA credentials.
Kevin opened with the likely availability of Raiders’ WR Davante Adams via trade and whether or not Washington is interested and should be interested. Kevin had Taylor Kelly on the show. Kelly trains Jayden Daniels during the off-season at 3DQB, a QB training academy in Southern California. He also watches each game and provides Jayden with notes on his performance. And then it was former Redskins’ QB Gus Frerotte joining Kevin to talk Daniels and the Commanders’ offense. He also shared some fun stories/memories from the past.
