Then the boys discussed the report from CBS Sports that Ron Rivera has been telling offensive coordinator candidates that Sam Howell will be next year’s starting quarterback. Kevin finished up with the Front Office Sports report about Jeff Bezos not being a first-round bidder for the Commanders and the lower than advertised bid prices that were submitted.

The guys previewed and picked the 6 NFL “Super Wildcard” games while also making Super Bowl picks. Kevin had 4 “Smell Test” plays and discussed the AP NFL All-Pro vote. He finished up by looking back 50 years ago to the day when Miami beat Washington 14-7 in Super Bowl 7…the Redskins’ first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
