Cooley and Kevin recap Washington’s 23-15 win over San Francisco and in particular, the dominant Rookie of the Year performance by Chase Young. Also, Cooley’s text to Kevin about Alex Smith during the game before the news that Smith was injured. They talked about the playoff picture, the Seattle game, and a ton of other NFL talk too.

Cooley and Kevin opened the show talking about the Rams as a legitimate Super Bowl contender after their blowout of the Patriots last night before getting to a preview of Washington-San Francisco. Cooley thinks it’s a bad matchup for Washington and explained the reasons why. Additionally, both of the guys explained why the 49ers defensive numbers this year may be a bit misleading. Kevin had 8 “Smell Test” picks; Cooley had a “Lock of the Week”. They both predicted the Washington-SF final score and previewed some of the big NFL games of the weekend.
