A shorter show today with Kevin previewing the Dallas-Washington first-place showdown with the help of Doc Walker. Kevin likes Washington’s chances to win. Doc identified six players that he believes must play well for Washington to win. Kevin had an early “Smell Test” pick and final score prediction on Washington-Cowboys as well. Happy Thanksgiving!
Cooley in today with Kevin. Cooley has his recap of the Washington win over Cincinnati. The guys discussed the toss-up nature of the NFC East and made a pick on who wins the division. Cooley previewed the Dallas game on Thanksgiving and Kevin finished up with some thoughts on John Wall’s situation with the Wizards.
Kevin opened the show with a detailed recap of Washington’s 20-9 win over Cincinnati. Thom joined the show (Cooley tomorrow) with his thoughts and then the conversation turned towards how and what Alex Smith’s recent performances actually mean. They talked about some of the other NFL games including the Chiefs-Raiders classic and the Colts win over the Packers. Kevin defended Kirk per usual and then the boys talked about the Friday layoffs of three of their friends at The Team 980.
Cooley and Kevin are in agreement about Washington beating Cincinnati on Sunday. Their show today includes a preview, final score prediction, and a discussion about Ron Rivera’s comments to Cincinnati media that Washington would have taken Joe Burrow at #2 if the Bengals had taken Chase Young. Add to all of that, Kevin also has the most picks (Smell Test) he’s ever had and Cooley’s “Lock of the Week” is a Friday night ACC matchup.
Kevin and Thom opened with news on the “Frederick” virus. Then it was a conversation about last nights NBA draft and the Wizards’ pick before they got to whether or not Ron Rivera is souring on local media coverage of the team. Kevin had some Vegas NFL “tells”…..Thom had his Washington- Cincinnati prediction.
Cooley and Kevin today with Cooley’s “Film Breakdown” which included a discussion about the final Lions’ completion and how badly it was either called and/or executed. His grading also included the worst grade of the year for Chase Young. Chase Hughes/NBCSports Washington jumped on with Kevin to talk Wizards-Rockets Wall for Westbrook and the NBA Draft.
