Kevin opened the show talking about the NFL trades from yesterday and took a guess on what Philadelphia’s thinking is in their part of yesterday’s drama. Steve Buckhantz was Kevin’s guest and it would be easier to list the things they didn’t talk about than those things they did discuss but the conversation included….NFL play-by-play voices, state of sports on local tv newscasts, plane crash trivia, Buck’s opinion on the current Wizards’ broadcast team, and lots more. Kevin had two Sweet 16 “Smell Test” picks also at the end of the show.

Kevin and Thom today discussing what Dan Snyder’s buyout of his team’s minority shareholders means and doesn’t mean. Also, what’s next? Will we get the details of the Beth Wilkenson report or not? How about the competition on this story between the New York Times and Washington Post….Thom’s experienced thoughts on that as well. The boys talked a little Turgeon, Strasburg, and more. Also, Kevin had author Dave Ungrady on the show to talk about an interesting Len Bias project he’s working on.

Kevin and Thom mixed sports and art on today’s show like few others could pull off. First, Thom gets after fans, media (local and national) for their obsession with Ryan Fitzpatrick and the belief that he may lead WFT to next year’s Super Bowl. Then it was the boys on the Curtis Samuel signing. Their NCAA Tourney Bracket came next and Thom laid his out on canvas like the great impressionist he is. Kevin had a “Smell Test” pick for tonight’s “First 4” too.
